At Woodmont High School, 2023 Palmetto's Finest Award Winner, we pride ourselves in having athletes that perform on and off the field. In the classroom, our Varsity teams had a cumulative GPA of 4.22 for the 2024-2025 school year. We had 17 Wildcats from multiple sports teams sign to play at the collegiate level.

There was a lot to cheer for from the sidelines for the 2024-2025 season.
During the last year, we had 57 All-Region athletes, with 3 of them selected as All-Region Players of the Year and 8 All-State Athletes. Woodmont had 2 Regional Championships and 2 Upper State Finalists. Our Girls Track took State Championship in the 400 Meters, 4X100 Relay and 4X400 Relay. We had representation in the Football Shrine Bowl and 2 athletes that competed in the North South All Star Game. Additionally, our athletic program had 3 All-Region coaches.
 

A new year, a new season
The 2025-2026 season is upon us, and our athletic program is growing. This year Woodmont High School has over 850 student athletes that make up 22 athletic programs with 44 teams. The Woodmont High School Athletic Booster Club strives to provide support to all athletes, coaches, and the Athletic Director to ensure we can complete at the highest level.

The WHS Athletic Booster Clubs helps fund:

• Weight Room Equipment

• Field/Support Equipment

• Pool Rental Fee for Swim Team

• Green Rental Fee for Golf Teams

• Transportation Assistance for Away Games (All Sports and Band)

• Senior Signing Day

• Woodmont Athletic Hall of Fame

As our athletic program grows, we look forward to connecting with more of our community
partners willing to support our athletic programs at Woodmont High School. In 2023-2024,
digital EMCs were added to Baseball and Softball Stadiums and the Gymnasium. In 2024-2025
our jumbo video display was installed in the Woodmont Stadium, home to Whitt Memorial
Field. This digital component adds to the fans experience at athletic events and provide us an
exclusive opportunity to highlight our community sponsors and partners. Additionally, we are
looking at installing a covered batting facility for baseball and softball. Come join the 2023
